Spin Art produce wind spinners that are individually created and carefully selected for their customers. The resulting products are beautiful, unique and bursting with colour, style, and originality.

The brief: Spin Art did not have an online store and wanted to expand their digital marketing efforts to help grow their online presence. They needed to sell their products online with a simple checkout process. They wanted a custom ecommerce website that was designed inline with their new logo and branding that had been created. The site needed to have simple navigation throughout, with the focus drawn to the colourful and original products.

Launch the site

OUR PROCESS
We started the project with identifying the product range, the categories and the payment system. With this in mind we were able to create a site map and work out the best navigation options to allow customers to view different product ranges quickly. We achieved this with the use of various call to actions for popular products and incorporating a simple filtering system for the ecommerce main shopping page.
We wanted to keep the customers focus on the product images themselves. We did this by keeping the background simple and using white space throughout the website.
The Build
The custom ecommerce website was created using WooCommerce, this allowed them to be in total control. They can keep on top of inventory, add and remove products as their range changes/updates.
We produced a fully responsive custom ecommerce website that works across all modern browsers and devices. The website was then connected to their marketing platform, and was then launched and advertised via their facebook page.
The outcome
The payment gateway was linked to the Stripe platform and all of the notifications were sent through Mail Chimp for consistency within their emails.
This is an ongoing project as they still have many more products that they want to feature on their online shop. We will be continuing to work and develop the website for the foreseeable future.
