Servicedek provide vital resources that help IT outsourcers, resellers, MSP’s and channel partners meet today’s global IT support challenges. Servicedek offer 24/7, 365 days a year access to authorised IT service engineers.

The brief: To develop a new WordPress Website design with existing content migrated from their old WordPress website. Their previous website was not inline with their current brand and lacked consistency, it was also missing various services that they offered. They needed to highlight certain aspects of their business such as global IT support and needed Salesforce integrated as they had a new online ticketing system created within Salesforce for their clients to log tickets, issues and queries.

Launch the site

Our process
The design was to be eye catching and colourful to help them stand out amongst their competitors. The information needed to be simple to read and easy to find the service that the customer was looking for as their previous sitemap did not work well as all the information was added to a single page.
We also wanted to make certain services stand out as this was unique to their business, we did this with the use of various Call to Actions throughout the site.
The design focused around white space and their corporate colours, with constant Call to Actions in place to allow the visitor to get in touch as easy as possible.
The build
We started the build by migrating the content from their original WordPress site. We then created a new sitemap that would break up the services into various sections and allowed a page for each of their services. This allowed them to have more in depth information on their services and it would also help with their SEO rankings.
We added a bespoke custom post type for their users to be able to download helpful assets, guides and scripts that they can run through their systems to help gather certain information.
The outcome
The website is fully responsive across all digital devices, is now simple to navigate and their services are now easy to find and understand. The site feels clean and professional and has constant Call to Actions to help navigate the user to get in touch.
We also integrated their online ticketing system into the site, so this links directly into their Salesforce platform, allowing customers to submit a ticket using their credentials and their request goes straight into their system.
We are continuing to work with Servicedek with one of our Monthly Support Packages to help keep their site up to date, add in new content and help their new site grow with organic SEO.

Why WordPress

Servicedek’s previous website was in WordPress so they wanted to keep their new site within the WordPress platform. We designed and developed a bespoke design and developed a theme for their new WordPress website, adding the functionality that was needed and integrated with their online support system in Salesforce.
