The brief: Optilearn wanted a fresh and modern website designed to help stand out amongst their competition. Optilearn’s old site was on WordPress.com and they wanted to move over to WordPress.org so that they could have custom functionality. The main focus was to create a system that would make their booking more streamlined. They also wanted to grow their customers by integrating the Learndash system to enhance their online offerings and sell online assessments. Another feature that was needed was to have the site translated into Japanese using google translate integration.

Our Process
We began the project by outlining the users journey as Optilearn had three core areas within their business. Training, Consulting and Coaching meaning we needed to point the user into the correct sector as soon as possible. Optilearn wanted the site to feel professional yet simplistic, making the journey to purchasing a course or getting in touch as simple as possible.
The Build
The development of the website was focused on their three core areas and allowing the user to follow a specific journey to each service. We also implemented various call to actions throughout the site to help guide the user to various areas.
We integrated an online ticketing system to help streamline their process along with an online learning platform. This was then all linked to their marketing system of choice. The main focus was to help streamline their onboard process and help target previous users into new customers.
The Outcome
The website was launched and within 3 months we helped grow their traffic by over 1900%. Increasing lead generation and online sales.
The website is fully responsive across all digital devices and works across all browsers. It is user friendly, therefore, new courses or any changes can be added to the site easily by themselves.

Why WordPress

Optilearn were previously using the WordPress.com platform and wanted a custom solution that allowed them to add in more functionality. They wanted to stay with WordPress which allowed them the control and flexibility to add the functionality they wanted. Having a CMS that was simple to use, update and amend themselves was extremely important. We designed and developed a custom eCommerce website using WooCommerce which allowed them to sell and advertise their online courses to the public.
