Ledridge is a market leading LED lighting company who are proud to be specified by many of the world’s leading brands. They develop stunning lighting across many areas including the retail sector, hospitality sector and within architectural design.

The brief: Ledridge needed to update their old site as the site was not performing and it was difficult to navigate. The site itself was not being organically ranked within search engines, this was affecting their overall traffic and was obviously not generating initial leads. The site was also not inline with their current brand.

Launch the site

Our process
We wanted to create a sleek yet modern design, so we created a dark website design that featured a multitude of dark and light sections, representing “light”. We also incorporated their original red from their branding to help highlight important content and messages throughout.
The build
The website was designed to focus on generating leads from various call to actions throughout the site. We also introduced various free downloads that would allow them to capture users data. This was then integrated into their marketing platform.
The site needed to be simple to use and easy for the user to navigate. They also needed to add a search capability for various product codes.
The site needed to be easy to update and amend for the client so we used advanced custom fields within the back end of WordPress for ease of use.
The outcome
We amended their core permalink structure as their old site was functioning to the best of its ability. The site was then marketed across social media and google ads. The site immediately started gaining traffic and was generating leads through the various catalogue downloads.
The outcome of the final website is very eye catching dark website that stands out from their competition and the website is of course fully responsive across all digital devices.

Why WordPress

Ledridge has previously used WordPress and wanted to stay with WordPress. They needed a CMS that was simple to use, update and amend. We designed and developed a customised WordPress website with this in mind, adding the necessary functionality that was needed to help Ledridge achieve their goals.
