Cornucopia of Solihull are greengrocers, deli and butcher shop based in Solihull, West Midlands. They focus on three core values to help deliver the best for their customers; these are fresh stock, friendly service & of course first class produce.

The brief: Cornucopia needed a ecommerce Website created to sell products online and they also needed an online presence. Their main goal was to sell their produce online through a custom ecommerce Website, with the option for customers to click and collect or have it delivered to their homes. They wanted the site to be simple to navigate, with the core focus being on the imagery and their very own authentic Himalayan salt chamber to age their meat.

Launch the site

our process
We initiated the project with laying out how the website would handle Cornucopias large amount of products and various sectors. We achieved this with the use of categories, which would then drill down to more specific products on the click through.
To ensure the images became a main focal point throughout the site we organised a professional photographer to shoot all of their products. This is an ongoing task and we will continue to add more products.
The build
We built the ecommerce website using wooCommerce allowing them to be able to add various products to the site in their own time. This allowed us to add a click and collect function along with a local delivery option.
We produced a fully responsive ecommerce website that works across all modern browsers and devices. The website was then connected to their marketing platform. Their website was then launched and advertised via their facebook page.
The outcome
The payment gateway was linked to their Stripe platform and all of the notifications were sent through Mail Chimp for consistency within their emails.
This is an ongoing project as they still have many more products that they want featured on their online shop. We will be continuing to work with Cornucopia for the foreseeable future.
We are also helping them look into integrating their current digital till system into the website to help the ordering process even simpler.

Why WordPress

Cornucopia wanted to create an ecommerce website with a CMS that was simple use, update and allow customers to arrange delivery or click and collect. We designed and developed a customised eCommerce store with their goals in mind, adding the functionality that was needed to help them achieve their goals.
