Constructing West Midlands is a ready-made delivery vehicle for capital building, repair, maintenance and refurbishment works, Constructing West Midlands provides clients with access to impartial experts and some of the UK’s leading contractors.

It offers clients a flexible framework structure which can be tailored to suit individual project requirements and sets high standards for sustainability and the provision of economic and social value.

The brief: Constructing West Midlands needed to update their brand, website, social media presence and promotional material. They wanted to bring Constructing West Midlands into the modern day and bring the brand back to life. Their old website was not cohesive or inline with their current services as the website had not been updated for many years.

Launch the site

Our process
We started the project off with some initial ideas for their logo and how it would work and develop across all platforms. We then began to finalise their logo and started work on the design for their website. The logo was then developed into the final mark which was used.
We planned the sitemap carefully as there was to be two rather different side to their business, so the content and pages needed to be carefully planned out. We also incorporated their new colour palette and continued the use of gradients and illustrations throughout.
The build
The website was designed to be broken up into two sections; Capital Works Frameworks and their Repair and Maintenance Framework. We did this by guiding the viewer to make the decision quickly as to which Framework that they needed and then give them the relevant information based on this.
The Site was also focused around their various partners and relevant case studies that these partners have completed. This was to help highlight the work that has been completed by these various Frameworks. The site needed to be easy to update and amend for the client so we used advanced custom fields within the back end of WordPress for ease of use.
The outcome
The final outcome was a modern and eye catching brand that follows through all of their website that is fully responsive across all digital devices. The site immediately started gaining traffic and was generating great leads through the various call to actions. We are continuing to work with Constructing West Midlands with our SEO and Monthly Support Packages.

Why WordPress

Constructing West Midlands were previously using WordPress and wanted to stay within the WordPress platform. Having a CMS that was simple to use, update and amend themselves was important. We designed and developed a customised WordPress website with this in mind, adding the necessary functionality that was required to reach their goals.
